What to Expect on the Day of Revision Rhinoplasty Surgery
When you arrive at our beautiful Beverly Hills or Dubai office, we will have you check in with our welcome staff before following Dr. Nikolov to the operating room. You will go over the expectations again and any final questions before getting general anesthesia, where you will quickly fall asleep and be unable to feel any pain while the surgery is performed.
During the procedure, Dr. Nikolov will correct the necessary features of the nose using fat grafts from the septum, ear, or rib, which are carefully placed on and around the nasal structure to create the desired shape and size or to improve the internal breathing passages. Incisions will also be created through the bridge or the nostril to open the skin for the grafted fat. The surgery will be complete after 2-5 hours, depending on the extent of the procedure.
Patients must be taken home by a trusted contact, as it is not safe to drive after receiving general anesthesia.
Revision Rhinoplasty Recovery

As you recover, you can expect some initial swelling, bruising, and tenderness for a few weeks. The beginning will be the hardest, but prescribed pain medication will help you get through it much more easily.
A bandage or nasal splint must be worn for around 2 weeks, depending on the extent of the procedure. You should take plenty of rest and avoid blowing your nose, wearing glasses, and doing strenuous exercise. You will likely be able to return to work after around 2 weeks.
